The rulebook labels two different card types as Ovations and Awards! Which is accurate?
You'll find the correct labeling on the right! This was an unfortunate printing error. Ovation cards are always cards you purchase with (20) roses, while Award cards are always cards you earn! Remember, Ovation cards when purchased increase the Composition tracker!
Player Cheat Sheets will always show the correct information regarding card types so be sure to reference those!
When do I purchase Ovation cards?
How does this work?
Ovation cards are purchased during Phase One of gameplay! You'll purchase one of these in lieu of taking a card from the Composition.
This means you cannot take an Ovation card and another card at once. You can only pick a single card each time its your turn in the rotation!
